This video was super fun for me to film because I work at the church and teach 3rd and 4th graders! They all wanted to touch the camera and find out why Ms. Lillian was filming them. I love the program and FUN FACT, the year I entered the church was the first year of Jogging for Jesus! It is truly great the amount of service they are committed to there and I'm very happy with this months video!
This project was our final one of the year. I was challenged with the task of condensing a news feature story into a 30-60 second video, then write a full news article on the event. I created a completely new page called "Multimedia" and that will grow next year as I begin to write more print articles for each video. Although I had not written an article since journalism 1 (in 7th grade) I'm surprised by how much I remember. I think it is important especially for broadcast journalists to focus on their writing. It not only improves voice over writing and technique, but it also is an opportunity to share information that is not included in the piece.

I think you meant "I'm" surprised by how much I remember--just a small typo, but worth correcting--a great post to lead into your video!

You're welcome! And I agree with you about the video, but add a possessive apostrophe on "I'm very happy with this month's video!"
