As a part of HEC-TV's show EXPLORE! Sound and Sight, I took a look into what it is like to be blind. I worked with Annie Donnell and those close to her to get a glimpse of just how much the language of braille is crucial in developing independence and communication through the visually impaired. Annie was extremely open and was more than happy to share her life story. What I enjoy about this video is the connection it makes between displaying information and sharing a real story from a unique character. The EXPLORE! show went off without a hitch and I look forward towards the next opportunity to work with them!
